You will find unethical people in all walks of life and especially at work, backstabbing co-workers are a reality. Every employee in his or her career faces a backstabbing kind of issue at least once. If you are not one of them then, you must be lucky enough to have good colleagues around you. Employees who backstab coworkers and bosses undermine productivity and morale. These individuals help create a culture of paranoia and unfounded negative speculation in a small-business environment. Avoiding such people or employees and maintaining a distance at first is one of the solutions if you need to deal with backstabbing employees. Trustworthy employees are like a boon for other colleagues and the company, whereas untrustworthy employees act as a hindrance on the way to success. Workforce acts an imperial role in achieving company goals and vision. In some instances, a manager has a case of bad judgment and doesn't take the necessary steps of handling poorly performing employees. They do not make an effort to set clear rules and somehow encourage the backstabbing attitude, sometimes even the supervisor themselves accommodate this behavior like a normal and positive thing, even newcomers would think that this is just a normal occurrence and can simply be tolerated. There’s a difference between a difficult employee and a toxic one, they are toxic because not only do they cause harm but they also spread their behavior to others. At the end of the day, if you encounter these types of co-workers, you must do what you think is right especially if the Manager exhibits an inability to make appropriate decisions. Start looking for a new job and say goodbye cordially with dignity. Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from negative people, believe that.
